These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Quizzy AI Pro ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Quizzy AI Pro mobile application and related services (the "Service").
By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA where a higher age applies) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
You sign in using Google (Firebase Authentication). You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. The Service
Quizzy AI Pro lets you create, import, and study flashcard decks, including features that use artificial intelligence to generate flashcards and check your answers. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
4. Your content
- Ownership. You retain ownership of the decks and cards you create ("Your Content").
- License to us. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including syncing it across your devices and processing it through the AI features you use).
- Responsibility. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to use it. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates others' rights.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Upload or generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, or infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- Use the Service to build a competing product, or scrape or bulk-extract data from it;
- Abuse, automate, or attempt to circumvent limits on the AI features.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
6. AI-generated content — no guarantee of accuracy
The Service uses AI to generate flashcards and evaluate answers. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should not rely on AI-generated content as professional, medical, legal, financial, or academic advice. You are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it. The Service is a study aid, not a substitute for authoritative sources.
7. Subscriptions and payments
- Premium features. Some features require a paid subscription ("Premium").
- Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing / canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly for store purchases.
- Free tier. Free features may have usage limits, which we may change.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (including Google/Firebase, Google Gemini, Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play). Your use of the Service may also be subject to those parties' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Intellectual property
The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, and content we provide (excluding Your Content) — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as allowed by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including, for EU consumers, statutory rights).
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY/STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms overrides those rights.
